Small camera found in Kaysville VASA tanning room

KAYSVILLE, Utah — Police are investigating a small camera that was found inside one of the tanning rooms at the VASA Fitness center in Kaysville.

VASA’s staff found out about the camera on Wednesday and called the police.

“We’re pretty limited on information at this time as the investigation’s just beginning,” said Sgt. Jeremy Owens with the Kaysville Police Department. “But we [are trying] to identify the suspect, owner of the camera, and any potential victims.”

VASA sent an email to members letting them know of the camera discovery. They said they’ve increased surveillance of the area and will sweep the tanning area and locker rooms more often moving forward.

They’ve also asked gym goers to let them know if anything else looks suspicious.
