Day 1 in ‘landmark case’ for animal rights

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah — A trial involving stolen and saved piglets will begin today and may be considered a “landmark case” for animal rights by activists. Jury selection will occur all day today and is expected to end before 4 p.m.
Matt Johnson of Direct Action Everywhere said in a press release, that over 100 supporters showed up at the court house to show support for the case and after court they will drive to Circle Four Farms in Milford.
Circle Four Farms is where the crime scene occurred and where activists Paul Darwin Picklesimer and Wayne Hsiung stole two piglets in alleged attempts to save them.
Those who wish to go will be caravanned to the farm which will stop at notable sites, where investigators will speak and take questions.
