‘Hold’ status lifted on two Bluffdale schools

BLUFFDALE, Utah — The “hold” status has been lifted at Hidden Valley Middle School and Mountain Point Elementary in Bluffdale.

According to a message sent to parents by the Jordan School District, police received information on a potential threat to the school. Classes have resumed as normal.

The message said in part, “All students and staff will remain in their classrooms during the Hold in order to keep hallways clear while police, who are on scene, can investigate,” the message to parents said.
