MURRAY, Utah — Investigators in Murray are looking into what caused an explosion inside a motorhome Wednesday evening.
Steve Robertson, of the Murray Fire Department, told KSL the incident happened in the area of 1795 E. Ann Dell Lane at 6:22 p.m.
When fire crews arrived on scene, there was no fire. However, Robertson did say one individual was taken to an area hospital with minor burns.
The incident occurred in a residential area, according to Robertson and the motorhome was on the homeowner’s property. Additionally, damage to the motorhome was limited to the inside.
Robertson says a caller said the motorhome fire was threatening a nearby home. As a result, emergency personnel upgraded the incident to a house fire. However, Robertson says there was never a house fire.
The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
