Motorhome crash in Box Elder County claims the life of one person

BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — One person died Friday afternoon and another person was hospitalized following a motorhome crash on northbound I-15 in Box Elder County.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the crash occurred near milepost 377 at 12:55 p.m. The motorhome exited the highway to the right, it went down an embankment and hit a ditch.
After being transported to an area hospital, the driver was pronounced dead. The passenger in the motorhome was also transported to the hospital and was in fair condition.
The UHP is investigating to determine if the driver was having a medical emergency just prior to the crash.
No other information about the incident was provided.
