SANDY, Utah — The Costco in Sandy has been closed and won’t reopen until tomorrow.
There is a large police presence, but they have not confirmed why they are there or why they shut down the store.
According to KSL.com an employee has indicated the closure is due to a Freon gas leak and smoke. No injuries have been reported.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
