No imminent danger in underground gas leak in Midvale says Dominion

MIDVALE, Utah — United Fire Authority and Dominion Energy have confirmed an underground gas leak in Midvale after reports of a natural gas smell. UFA quickly evacuated two homes as Dominion Energy was called to assess the surrounding area.

Dominion confirmed that there were no other gas leak readings detected in the vicinity,  and requested equipment to gain access to the leak underground to begin repairing the leak.

Authorities said that there was no imminent danger from this gas leak in Midvale.
