MIDVALE, Utah — Unified Police said they received two calls for shots fired at a house party on Husky Highway in Midvale last night.
Heatherlyn Lohrke with Unified Police said they responded to the first call, but received little compliance from the people inside. The few people that did come out from the house denied any shooting.
Lohrke said about a half hour later, they received a second call for the same residence. This call reported a man with a gun and a burglary in progress.
She said they called the SWAT team and detained about 25 people.
Lohrke said no one at the house was shot or injured, but they did find a bullet casing.
She said they knew that shots had been fired because of the casing. However, they had no evidence to make any arrests. No one from the party said they were a victim of a crime, and they didn’t know where the gun was or who had fired it.
Lohrke said the investigation is ongoing.
