South Salt Lake Police seek help identifying aggravated robbery suspect

SOUTH SALT LAKE — South Salt Lake Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in an aggravated robbery that occurred last weekend.
Police say the incident took place at American Title Loans, located at 3553 S. State Street, on Saturday, Oct. 29.
According to a South Salt Lake Police news release, a male suspect entered the business. The suspect allegedly demanded cash, while threatening the employee with a handgun that was concealed in the suspect’s waistband.
The news release states the suspect fled the business to the east after the incident.
According to the news release, the suspect is between the ages of 35 and 55 years old. He is roughly 6-feet tall and 220 pounds. The suspect was wearing a Utah Jazz cap, gloves, a COVID-19 mask and a construction jacket. On the back of the jacket, there is a triangle-shaped symbol that says, “Safety nobody gets hurt.”
In addition to the identity of the suspect, authorities are also seeking information of the company on the suspect’s jacket.
