Victim of dog attack in Taylorsville has died

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah  — A 63-year-old woman has died after being attacked by several pit bulls last week. 

Taylorsville Police identified the 63-year-old as Sandra Miller.

Miller’s sister confirmed to KSL on Tuesday that she died last night and their family is in shock. 

Last week, Miller was attacked by her son’s pit bulls in Taylorsville. Police said she had extensive injuries to her hands, face and legs and one of them had to be amputated.

Police shot one of the dogs when they got on the scene. They now say the rest of them have been put down as well.

The Miller’s sister told KSL that their family wanted privacy at this time.
