JD Vance closes out day 3 at Republican National Convention, officially accepts VP nomination

MILWAUKEE — JD Vance, Donald Trump’s newly anointed vice presidential running mate, officially accepted the nomination Thursday night at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
He addressed the convention, describing his upbringing, calling out the housing affordability crisis, and endorsing Donald Trump for another White House tenure.
Vance, first-term Ohio Senator, Yale graduate, former marine, and author of autobiographical “Hillbilly Elegy, was announced as Trump’s Vice Presidential pick Monday.
“I pledge to every American, no matter your party, I will give you everything I have,” Vance said as he closed out his speech.
