“Sundance was hit the hardest with 43 new inches of snow,” said Johnson.
Some areas of the Salt Lake Valley, including West Jordan, got anywhere from 18- to 24 inches of snow. Some of the snowdrifts in that area were six- to eight feet high.
The Tooele Valley also received 24 to 26 inches, and also had snowdrifts from six- to eight feet high.
Furthermore, this February’s Snowstorm is the second snowiest on record for February. The storm placed ninth, independent of the month or day.
“The snowstorm should ease off for a break on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday another round of snow, and a possible couple inches. By Tuesday, more SLC snowstorms will arrive,” said Johnson.
