Fire breaks out at Daybreak home, wind possibly a factor

DAYBREAK — A fire broke out Sunday afternoon at a home in Daybreak.
The South Jordan Fire Department said the fire started at 6:30 p.m. at a residence near Mille Lacs Drive.
The family was home at the time they reported the fire and were able to make it out safe, according to the SJFD.
Although it’s unclear how the fire started, the SJFD said wind might’ve played a “factor in needing additional resources.”
Fire crews will be monitoring the residence all night.
