SALT LAKE CITY – The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a 70‑year‑old Escalante woman who has been missing for several days.

Family members say DeEtte Spencer was last seen Jan. 26 around 10:30 p.m. at the Walmart in Price after visiting relatives in Colorado. Spencer has not made any credit card transactions since that night, according to police.

Her family had been tracking her iPhone during her drive through Colorado, but the signal was lost. Deputies attempted to ping the phone without success, which they believe may indicate a dead battery.

Spencer has no known medical conditions that would explain her disappearance, and deputies have checked hospitals across Utah.

A nationwide attempt‑to‑locate bulletin and a statewide Silver Alert have been issued, but neither has produced any leads, officials said.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office at 435‑676‑2678. Spencer was last seen driving a white Buick Lucerne with Utah license plate E604JU.

We want to hear from you.
