Man found dead in Jordanelle Reservoir

SALT LAKE CITY — Wasatch County emergency services confirmed a man had died during a water-related emergency at Jordanelle Reservoir.
According to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call came in at 7:45 a.m. Monday about a man seen floating on the water.
Wasatch County Fire, Sheriff’s Deputies and the Division of Natural Resources all reported to the reservoir, where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man was wearing a life jacket, appeared to be paddleboarding, and also appeared to be alone.
“At this time, there is no information to suggest foul play, and the incident appears to be accidental,” the police report said.
Police are notifying family members of the man’s death.
