SALT LAKE CITY — Police are investigating what they call the suspicious death of a man on Lincoln Street in Sugar House.
Initial calls about a verbal altercation were made to police around 3 a.m. said Sgt. Greg Wilking with Salt Lake City Police.
There was a separate report of shots being fired near Fairmont Park, which is south of the scene where police are investigating.
Wilking said that evidence found at the scene indicates a possible altercation prior to the death.
This is believed to be an isolated incident involving several individuals, Wilking said. The death does not appear to be related to an overdose.
