A small plane experienced an engine malfunction on Sunday and was forced to make an emergency landing on the road. (UDOT)

SALT LAKE CITY — A small plane experienced an engine malfunction on Sunday and was forced to make an emergency landing on the road.

According to Utah Highway Patrol, the aircraft landed on Legacy Parkway just north of 500 South.

Four people were inside the plane, but there were no injuries.
