SALT LAKE CITY — A 19-year-old hit was hit and killed by a car in Duchesne County on Tuesday.

The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office said Kai Cowan was walking in the road when he was hit by a car near 6500 S 12000 W, near Arcadia.

An investigation is ongoing, but the sheriff’s office says there’s no indication that the driver would face criminal penalties.
