I-84 in Morgan County reopens after semi truck rollover

SALT LAKE CITY — A semi truck hauling wood products rolled on eastbound Interstate 84 in Morgan County on Thursday, causing hours-long lane closures.

The rollover happened at 8:20 a.m. and caused minor injuries to a passenger. The male driver was not injured.

Originally, all traffic was being forced off I-84 at Rees Lane.

After about 90 minutes, the Utah Highway Patrol moved the forced exit onto state Route 66 into Morgan City.

I-84 EB appears to STILL BE CLOSED. The exit @UTHighwayPatrol is now forcing drivers off to is Morgan City. Traffic is backed up a mile or so trying to exit there. Be prepared for big delays trying to leave Weber County into Morgan on EB I-84. pic.twitter.com/0uOiQXtUNR

As of 1:34 p.m., all lanes were reopened.
