17-year-old hit by garbage truck in Tremonton

TREMONTON, Utah — A 17-year-old girl was hit and killed by a garbage truck early Tuesday morning, according to Tremonton Police Department.
Police said the girl was riding her bicycle on 1500 Main Street in Tremonton around 6:00 a.m. when she was hit. She was a student at Bear River High School.
The Tremonton Police Department said they will not be releasing the girl’s information due to her age. They will not be releasing information about the driver until the investigation is complete.
