Accident sends motorcycle through window of Draper business

DRAPER — A motorcycle crashed through the window of a Draper business on Saturday after an accident with another vehicle, police said.
Officer Ricks with the Draper Police Department said they received a call about an accident at 4:46 p.m. in the area of State Street and 11950 South.
Ricks said a 20-year-old man was riding his motorcycle north on State Street when he was involved in a crash, sending his motorcycle through the window of the nearby Black Bear Diner.
The rider was taken to the hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

Nobody inside the diner was injured, Ricks said. It appeared that nobody was in the area of the dining room where the motorcycle went in.
Ricks said the diner was closed for the remainder of the day, but would likely open Sunday. No other businesses were affected.
