SALT LAKE CITY — A man was killed Tuesday night after crashing into a tree in Cedar City, according to local police.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., the man was traveling west in a gray SUV on Industrial Road, and failed to stop at the Airport Road intersection, the Cedar City Police Department said. The SUV went straight through and hit a tree on the other side.
Officials arrived to find a man in his late twenties unconscious at the scene. They immediately began CPR and first aid, however the man never regained consciousness and died at the scene of the crash.
It was unclear what caused the man to crash, but investigators were still working to determine what happened Wednesday morning.
