13-year-old dies, two people hospitalized, after Saratoga Springs crash

SALT LAKE CITY — Two people were hospitalized, and one has died after a crash in Saratoga Springs Thursday evening.

AnnEllise Harrison with Saratoga Springs Fire & Rescue said three people, an adult female, a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, were in critical condition after the crash. The 13-year-old boy has since died as a result of his injuries. The adult female was transported to the hospital via Life Flight.

The crash took place at the intersection of Pony Express Parkway and Mountain View Corridor. The area is closed at this time. In a post to Facebook, the Saratoga Springs Police Department encouraged drivers to use an alternate route.
