Man taken into custody following domestic disturbance in Park City

SALT LAKE CITY — A man was safely taken into custody on Tuesday in connection with a domestic disturbance in Park City Sunday night.
On Sunday afternoon, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Bobsled Blvd. in Summit County.
According to police, information available to the officers implied that the man involved with the domestic disturbance was barricaded alone inside the house.
Tactical units responded to the scene “out of an abundance of caution” to ensure no one would be injured during the incident.
By Sunday evening, deputies confirmed that the man was no longer in the home, and began searching for the man in the surrounding areas.
Officials cleared the area late Sunday night and allowed residents to return home.
On Tuesday morning, police said the man was taken into custody after he returned to the residence.
Sgt Skyler Talbot with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office said the man was not charged with a crime.
“These remain allegations only and the accused is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty,” Talbot said.
