Driver crashes into West Valley City apartment complex

SALT LAKE CITY – A West Valley City apartment complex sustained approximately $30,000 in damages after a driver crashed into it Saturday morning.
Officer Rebecca Partridge with the West Valley City Police Department said at approximately 12:31 a.m., the driver called police to report she had crashed into the Opal Apartments located at 2600 W. 3800 South.
The driver said her car had a “steering issue” while pulling out of a parking lot onto 3800 South and ran into the complex.
Partridge said two people were inside the affected apartment unit during the crash, but were not injured. The building sustained approximately $30,000 in damages.
Police said there were no signs of intoxication. No further information was provided at the time of publication.
