Farmington — Search and rescue crews in Davis County said they never found anything after searching for a reported plane crash near Farmington Canyon.
Sergeant Chris Pope with the Davis County Sheriff’s Office said they started searching Friday night around 6:00 P.M. after getting multiple calls about a plane crash near Francis Peak. Pope said they stopped searching around 10:30 P.M. because it was difficult to see even with night vision equipment.
Crews picked up their search again Saturday morning. Steph Dinsmore with the Davis County Sheriff’s office says the crews along with a helicopter searched the area for hours last night and this morning without finding anything.
