Firefighters quickly put out brush fire in Wasatch County

SALT LAKE CITY — Emergency crews were able to quickly extinguish a brush fire that started near Wallsburg, Wasatch County, on Wednesday.

Wasatch Fire said crews were dispatched at approximately 6:50 p.m.

“Wasatch Fire was notified of a brush fire start near the town of Wallsburg. Engine 55 was first arriving and declared a working incident,” Wasatch Fire said in a Facebook post on Thursday.

More units arrived shortly after, and crews were quickly able to get the fire under control.

There was no word on how much damage the fire cuased or how big it was, but the brush fire appeared to spread to a shed.

Wasatch Fire reminded the public that stage two fire restrictions are still in place.
