FILLMORE, Utah — A 36-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated domestic violence after he hit his wife’s car on Jan. 17. in Millard County.
The Millard County Sheriff’s office said Trevor Lyn Miller, of Hinkley, Utah, attempted to force his wife off the road near State Route 257 and U.S. Highways 6 and 50, around 4 p.m. A probable cause statement said the husband and wife were driving their cars “well over a hundred miles an hour during this incident.”
Witnesses told deputies that Miller crashed into the driver’s side of the wife’s car, forcing both of them off the road.
According to Deputy Derek Curtis, Miller admitted, multiple times, that he was under the influence. Curtis said he could smell alcohol coming “from Trevor’s person.”
When Curtis checked Miller’s record, he found two prior DUI convictions within the last 10 years. And his driver’s license showed Miller was an alcohol restrictions driver.
Miller remains in the custody of the Millard County Jail.
