LOGAN — Two people were found dead Tuesday morning after they were ejected from their vehicle in Logan, according to the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, officials received a call of a single-vehicle crash at 14200 Stink Creek Rd. near the Logan City Landfill.
Upon arrival, deputies said they found a crashed vehicle along with one male and one female who had been ejected from the vehicle. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Police released their identities on Wednesday as Jace Tanner Dunn, 29, and Rose Reed, 24.
During an investigation, the sheriff’s office said alcohol was a possible factor in the crash due to many open containers they found in the vehicle.
“Our sincerest condolences go out to the families of those involved in this tragic incident,” said Lt. Mikelshan Bartschi. “We want to remind everyone in our community to drive safely, wear your seatbelt, and never drink and drive. A moment of poor judgment can have devastating and irreversible consequences. Please help us keep our roads safe for everyone.
