Man dies in Helper trailer fire Wednesday night

SALT LAKE CITY — A man is dead after the camping trailer he was inside of caught fire Wednesday evening.
In a post to Facebook, the Helper Police Department said officers were dispatched to the scene at 7:24 p.m. on reports of a structure fire. The post said a camper trailer had been “fully engulfed” in flames.
Once the fire was out, authorities found a deceased adult male inside the trailer.
Helper PD stated that the man’s family has been made aware of his death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
