Man drowns in Draper community pool

SALT LAKE CITY — A man is dead after drowning in a community pool in Draper Tuesday night.

Sgt. Hobie Young with the Draper Police Department said an adult male was found face down in the pool around 8:30 p.m. The pool is located inside a Draper housing complex, Chandler Pointe, located at 14874 Quarry Point Lane.

Upon arrival, officers performed CPR but were unable to revive the man.

At this time, authorities do not suspect anything suspicious, according to Young.
