12-year-old missing from Sandy found safe

SALT LAKE CITY — A 12-year-old who went missing on April 14 was found safe, police said in an update.

The 12-year-old was last seen at the Historic Sandy Station stop.

Sandy City Police Department said the 12-year-old was last seen wearing black shoes, khaki pants, and a grey hoodie.

The 12-year-old was at least the fourth teen to have gone missing in the greater Salt Lake area over 48 hours:
