Police search for missing 15-year-old last seen in Provo weeks ago

SALT LAKE CITY — Police in Payson requested the public’s help in locating a missing teen after he was last seen on Aug. 22.
Police said the teen’s name is Taylor Crane — a 15-year-old boy who has blonde hair and hazel eyes. He stands at about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds, police said.
Taylor’s last known location would have been on Aug. 22 between 6 and 6:30 p.m. at the Utah County Academy of Sciences campus in Provo. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, grey jeans, black shoes and a white backpack. He also has a green scooter with stickers on the stem.

Police said there were two unconfirmed sightings where Taylor was possibly seen once near the Rock Canyon trailhead in Provo and another time on 900 East in Provo on the same evening.
Any information about Taylor’s possible whereabouts can be relayed to the Central 911 Dispatch Center at 801-798-5600. Police said to ask for “Det. Cunningham.”
