Dogs rescued from Ogden home now up for adoption

SALT LAKE CITY — The Humane Society of Utah said some of the dogs that were rescued from an Ogden home last week are now ready for adoption.

Police rescued 156 dogs after they were found at an Ogden house in poor conditions.

The dogs were then taken to Weber County Animal Services, which spread them out among various groups like the Humane Society of Utah to help with vaccinations and have veterinarians check them out.

The Humane Society of Utah said the dogs vary in age and are small mixed breeds.

Anyone looking to adopt these dogs will need some extra patience as the dogs may take longer to adjust to their new environment.

“They are going to need very special adopters who are willing to work with them and help them to become the best dogs they can be,” the Humane Society wrote.
