Skier dies after ‘serious incident’ at Park City Mountain Resort

PARK CITY — A skier has died after a serious incident on the mountain at Park City Mountain resort on Tuesday.
On Friday the resort confirmed the incident and said the skier was a 61-year-old female from Florida.
Park City Mountain also said its ski patrol responded to the incident on a trail near Dreamscape Lift. The skier was then transported to the University of Utah Hospital where she later died.
“On behalf of the Park City Mountain team, we share our heartfelt condolences with the family and friends of our guest,” said Deirdra Walsh, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Park City Mountain.
