Multiple residents report seeing jets fly over Salt Lake Valley

SALT LAKE CITY — Multiple people across the Salt Lake Valley have reported an unusual number of jets flying overhead.

Tipsters as far south as Draper reported seeing jets flying overhead.

“I’ve got f35s flying over the house this afternoon. Wahoo.” wrote Jim Diepeveen from Draper.

Others sent in videos of the jets flying over Holladay.

KSL’s text line began receiving tips about the jets starting at 6:29, with multiple tipsters asking why jets were circling “Salt Lake county,” “Salt Lake Valley,” “Draper” and “Sandy.”

At the time of publication, Hill Air Force Base had not responded to calls for comment.
