TOOELE — Rick Morris’ family hasn’t seen him for nearly four years.

“Three years, 10 months, 17 days, 8 hours, and 6 minutes,” to be exact, read the most recent post on the family’s “Find Rick Morris” Facebook page.

They’re renewing their call for help to find the 32-year-old man. They asked anybody with information to contact Tooele police or Corner Canyon Investigations, a private investigating firm.

According to a flyer, the Utah Cold Case Coalition is still offering a $10,000 reward for information “that directly leads to closure in Rick’s case, or his location.” An anonymous tip can be reported by calling the Utah Cold Case Coalition at 385-258-3313.

Missing Rick Morris: The specifics

According to a flyer, Morris was last seen at 700 S. 770 W. in Tooele on June 25, 2021, at approximately 2 a.m. His family believes he was wearing Members Mark jeans with a blue cloth belt tied at the waist.

He is 32, stands around 6 feet 2 inches, and weighs between 150 and 175 pounds. He is white, has dark brown hair and wears a mustache and beard.

And Morris has type 1 diabetes, which the family has highlighted in missing posters.

“He had just gotten groceries and a new insulin vial just a few days before he went missing,” the family posted on Facebook. “Does that sound like the actions of someone who was planning on leaving?”

The smallest observation may help, family said

On past occasions, the family has asked those who see their flyer to search their memories for even the smallest thing that might help them find Morris. They are making that request again.

“I am begging you to help us find him, if you know anything, if you heard anything, saw anything, even if it was small, please come forward,” the family said on Facebook.

They are also appealing to people who may not live in the area where Morris was last seen, but who may have houses there, to have somebody check their property for signs of Morris.

They thank those who have already searched, and they ask you to search again, “just in case Rick doubled back.”

We want to hear from you.
