Rollover in Tooele County leaves driver dead, passenger injured

SALT LAKE CITY – One person is dead, and another is in the hospital after a rollover in Tooele County late Thursday night.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a Ford Expedition was traveling northbound on state Route 36 when witnesses said the car went off the road.

The Ford Expedition returned to the road, almost hit the witness vehicle, then drove off the road again and rolled.

Both passengers were ejected from the vehicle, and the driver, Dave Wolf, 69, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger received minor injuries, the UHP said.
