Salt Lake City International Airport ranks high for on-time arrivals, departures

SALT LAKE CITY — An aviation analytics provider has given Salt Lake City International Airport high rankings in a 2024 performance review.
In Cirium’s 2024 On-Time Performance Review, Salt Lake City International ranked number four in the world and number one in North America for on-time departures and on-time arrivals.
An airport’s total routes and airlines served were factors in the decision, along with on-time arrivals and departures.
A flight s considered on-time if it arrives or leaves within 15 minutes of the scheduled gate arrival or departure.
Cirium CEO Jeremy Bowen said that despite all the IT challenges airports faced in 2024, the winning airlines and airports worked tirelessly to give their customers the best experience possible.
Bowen congratulated all the airports and airlines that won last year’s review and gave a special recognition to Delta Airlines for their winning streak.
Additionally, Salt Lake City International was named “Best Overall Airport” in December 2024, by ride-sharing service Lyft.
