SALT LAKE CITY — A two-vehicle crash Friday evening on westbound I-80 near 1300 East created significant delays, according to UDOT.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the crash blocked the left two lanes. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
During the delay, motorists are asked to use I-215 as an alternate. Delays are about 15-20 minutes in length.
By Friday 6:15 p.m., UDOT reported the crash had been cleared and traffic was returning to a normal flow. However, the backup from the delay is expected to last for some time.
