Police investigating deadly forklift accident

SALT LAKE CITY — One person has died after a forklift accident in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
Fire officials were called around 2:30 p.m. to the accident at 1730 North Beck Street.
Salt Lake City Fire Department spokesman Shaun Mumedy said when emergency officials arrived on the scene, they found an adult had died.
According to Salt Lake City Police, the victim is a 56-year-old man. He was found near a vehicle next to a forklift that tipped over with the arms extended.
According to police, they have notified Utah Occupational Safety and Health as well as the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
