SLC International Airport to add another international nonstop flight

SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City International Airport is about to add another nonstop international flight for travelers to take advantage of.
Beginning Monday, Eurowings Discover will begin nonstop service between Salt Lake City and Frankfurt, Germany. The first flight from Germany will land in Salt Lake City on Monday at roughly 1:30 p.m. A Utah delegation will be on the inaugural flight.
Once the flight has landed and has arrived at the gate, there will be a welcome reception that will include speakers, a ribbon cutting ceremony. Those to be in attendance include Utah Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson, Derek Miller, president and CEO of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Earlier this month, Delta Air Lines returned its nonstop international flight between Salt Lake City and London.
