SALT LAKE CITY — A person who barricaded himself inside of an apartment in Salt Lake City has been taken into custody after a SWAT team responded to the scene.

The Salt Lake City Police Department asked the public to avoid 2333 West North Temple St. on Sunday while its SWAT team worked on the incident.

According to police, the person who was taken into custody negotiated with the SWAT team before being arrested.
