Semitruck driver killed in rollover crash on I-70 in Sevier County

SALT LAKE CITY — A man was killed Friday morning on Interstate 70 after the semitruck he was driving rolled, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Cam Roden with UHP said the driver was traveling on eastbound I-70 sometime before 7:30 a.m., when the truck hit the concrete barrier multiple times, causing it to roll over. The driver was not buckled, Roden said, and died at the scene.
There were no other known passengers, and crews at the scene were working to confirm what the truck had been carrying.
Roden said the left lane would be closed for a few hours on Friday.
