Police: Crew working to pull stolen SUV from Jordan River Canal

SALT LAKE CITY – Police said a salvage crew was working to recover a stolen SUV Sunday that was ditched in the Jordan River Canal.
Brandt Hancuff with the Salt Lake City Fire Department said the SUV was unoccupied.
The SUV was a stolen vehicle and was found in the canal near 500 S. 2650 West, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department. A salvage crew was reportedly working to pull the SUV from the canal.
The SUV was reportedly unoccupied upon initial discovery.
