Tire failure causes SUV rollover in Wendover Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY — A tire failed while traveling east on Interstate 80, causing an SUV rollover near Wendover on Saturday.
The accident occurred at mile marker 4 on I-80, four miles from the border of Nevada.
According to the Wendover Fire Department, the sole occupant of the SUV sustained injuries and was treated on the scene by Wendover Ambulance personnel. The Utah Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to see what may have caused the incident.
