Woman hospitalized after being hit by truck in Hurricane

SALT LAKE CITY — A woman was knocked unconscious and needed CPR after being struck by a car in Hurricane on Tuesday.
According to traffic cameras at the scene, the collision occurred at the intersection of 700 West and State St.
Police said the 66-year-old woman was walking in the crosswalk when she was struck by a Dodge Ram 5500 Commercial Truck traveling south on 700 West and turning east onto State St.
Medical authorities were seen loading someone into an ambulance, where Chief Kurt Yates of the Hurricane City Police Department said she was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police directed traffic around the scene.
