Did you know the rose is America’s national flower? 🇺🇸🌹

As we celebrate America 250, we’re honoring the flower that President Reagan called “the symbol of life and love and devotion, of beauty and eternity” when he signed it into law in 1986.

George Washington himself bred roses — and the Mary Washington Rose, named after his mother, is still grown today.

Roses grow in all 50 states, and right here in Utah, hybrid teas and shrub roses thrive with full sun, deep watering, and a lot of love.

Just like the American people, the rose is beautiful and tough — it pushes through thorns, weathers every season, and keeps on blooming. 🌹

Happy 250th, America. Now get out there and grow something.
