The Big Movie of the Week, “Civil War”, doesn’t lean politically one way or the other–which surprises some people. I thought it was more of a warning than a statement. (Read Andy’s co-host’s review of Civil War here.)
“Escape From Germany” tells the emotional (and miraculous) story of the evacuation from Germany of LDS missionaries just before World War II. It’s from local filmmaker T.C. Christensen. (Don’t miss Andy’s interview with the filmmakers of Escape from Germany.)
“Fallout” is an adaptation of a popular post-apocalyptic video game series into a streaming TV series but has a familiar look and feel, even for those who didn’t play the game but are fans of the genre.
“The Greatest Hits” is a streaming movie that deals with loss, grief and moving on through the eyes of a girl who is transported into the past (literally? Just her imagination?) every time she hears a song she had listened to with her late boyfriend.
