SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Arts Council announced lineup and ticket details for the upcoming summer Twilight Concert Series today. The concert series will celebrate its 35th year this summer.

The 2022 concert series will be held at the Gallivan Center again this year. The concerts will be held in July, August, and September.

The arts council said the concert series presents nationally recognized and upcoming artists, paired with local musicians and performers.

The council said this year’s series aims to support local musicians along with contributing to the economic recovery of downtown businesses that have been affected by the pandemic.

“Twilight has been an integral part of Salt Lake City for 35 years now, and we can’t wait to present this incredible season,” said says Felicia Baca, the Executive Director for the Salt Lake City Arts Council.

Baca added that this year’s lineup is “diverse and exciting.”

Lineup

The 2022 lineup for the Twilight Concert Series is:

  • July 14th: Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Houndmouth, Dad Bod
  • August 6th: Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten, Julien Baker, Spencer.
  • August 11th: The Decemberists, Brigid Mae Power
  • August 16th: Cuco
  • September 2nd: Shakey Graves, Sierra Ferrell, Michelle Moonshine

The council noted that additional supporting artists have yet to be announced.

Tickets

Season tickets for the concert series are available to purchase. The Salt Lake City Arts Council said tickets for individual shows will go on sale on March 8 at 10 a.m. MST. The council anticipates that both ticket types will sell quickly.
